Pregnancy and maternity photographs can be taken in a modern, tasteful and relaxed setting. Pregnancy photography is best done in early-mid third trimester to show off your amazing bump in all its glory. Speak to Jennifer about combining your maternity photography with newborn photography, and/or baby photography once your little baby has arrived!

Jennifer strives to capture images which reflect your child's personality in an outdoor setting. Jennifer's experience creating an inviting and safe environment for children to express their personalities results in images which you are sure to cherish for years to come.

At certain times of the year it is not uncommon to book a date for an outdoor session and then have the weather turn.  This is just part of living on the West Coast and as such we need to go with the flow.  The process for an outdoor session is; we book a tentative date, and as we get closer I become more and more addicted to the weather forecast.  If the forecast is looking particularly discouraging, I will contact you a day or more prior to our scheduled date to discuss how your feeling about our scheduled shoot.  On the day of the shoot, I will contact you in the morning and let you know my thoughts.  Sometimes we need to reschedule, however I’m not one to shy away from a little rain and getting super cute shots of little people playing in puddles, hanging around with umbrella’s or simply enjoying the moment. Studio sessions are available for children on request.

Community Involvement

Jennifer has teamed up with Sprouts Children's Boutique in an effort to raise funds for community causes. These events have raised money for the Victoria Hospitals Foundation in support of both the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) at Victoria General Hospital. Her most recent contribution was in conjunction with Sprouts Children's Boutique in an effort to support the Mustard Seed Food bank Christmas 2010 food drive.

Jennifer was chosen as the 2010 Vancouver Island Baby Fair photo contest photographer, raising over $2000 for the Greater Victoria Down Syndrome Society.
